Trainings
Since the Mombasa HIV/STD Research Site was established over 50 IARTP training appointments have been awarded to Kenyan investigators and key collaborators. Combined, these appointments correspond to over 45 training years and include:
- 4 PhDs and an additional PhD in progress.
- 16 Masters degrees in Epidemiology, Global Health, and Virology.
- 6 Advanced In-Country Scholar appointments
- 11 laboratory training appointments at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchison Cancer Center.
- 17 IRB related appointments for members to attend collaborative IRB exchanges.
- 2 Fogarty postdoctoral grants.
